Dual enrollment permits eligible high school students to enroll in college courses concurrently with high school classes. 学生 earn college credit for courses that meet the curriculum requirements of approved high school courses. 课程可能在love爱博的一个校区开设, 在线或现场参加的高中. 学生 may take courses during the fall, spring or summer semesters.

Congratulations on being accepted into dual enrollment at Gadsden State! Please review the Admitted 学生 Checklist before the first day of class:

- Technical students should obtain a book voucher from the 双录取 Office to pick up books and supplies from the bookstore.
- Make sure you are able to log in to your student systems (OneACCS and your myGadsdenState portal) prior to the first day of class.

An extensive list of academic and career technical courses are offered for dual enrollment students. 学生 should speak with a Dual Enrollment Specialist for the entire course list, 包括职业技术课程. “专题”课程不符合奖学金资助资格. 双学位学生不能选修发展性课程.
通常, students must complete three semester credit hours at the postsecondary level to equal one credit (Carnegie unit) at the high school level in the same or related subject. Each course must be crosswalked by the Local Education Agency (LEA) before high school equivalency credit can be determined for named academic courses. Each LEA must crosswalk the secondary course of study and the post-secondary syllabus. High school crosswalks are not required for courses counting as elective credit (career technical courses, 美术课程, 等.)

If the student wishes to pick up a transcript from the 招生 and Records Office, he/she should be prepared to make the request online and show a photo ID at the time of pickup. Transcripts are issued only at the documented request and authorization of the student concerned.
